"A Confabulation of Dragons "
"A Confabulation of Dragons" Oil on canvas, 46" x 34"
I have always been fascinated by the words that have become the names for groups of various types of animals, such as a gaggle of geese, a pod of whales, or a pride of lions, which are some of the more commonly used terms. But there are also those like a mob of kangaroos, a convocation of eagles and two of my favorites: a skulk of foxes and a parliament of owls.
In that vein, I was wondering what a group of dragons might be called, hence "A Confabulation of Dragons."
This original oil painting was done as a private commission.
