“It has always fascinated me how many old proverbs and words of wisdom remain relevant over the centuries, and at times even seem to have been written for the current age. This new painting entitled, “A Wolf in Shepherd’s Clothing“ was obviously inspired by the old adage, “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.” And I guess what it means to me is that, even if times seem to change, sheep will always be sheep and a wolf, no matter how he’s dressed, will always be a wolf.” —SG

"Deep in the forest, an ancient creature browses through the remnants of a rotten log, searching for grubs. Suddenly, he stops and cocks his head toward a far off direction. He freezes, listens, then listens again. It's true, he's not alone, there are other Drattles in the forest! Lifting his head, he returns the call." -- SG
